And thusly did Sir Sagrell slay,
And thus, the Thresh was dead.
But from the heart of Gorguath
Came two beasts in his stead;
Woke two beasts from their bed.

Two times did Sir Sagrell struggle,
Two times he swore an oath:
'I'll leave your wretched corpses here'
As he battled them both
Amidst the undergrowth.

And, that morn, a figure emerged,
A lone and single Fae.
He sauntered past the gathered crowd
And turned to them to say,
'I think I'll rest today.'
